I really wish I had pictures to post with this, but I forgot my camera’s USB wire thing so I can’t transfer my pics to my laptop! DAmnit. Anyway, it had been a long long time since I had last been on a plane. It was still exciting though, I’ve always loved the take off. We got to Cancun at around 2:30pm and it was nice, sunny and humid. Couldn’t believe I was actually here for a while haha. Our vacation provider gave us a ride to our resort, the Riu Caribe… we checked in, and went to our room which was a lot nicer than I expected it to be! Everything was marble…marble floors, marble countertops. We had a mini bar fridge that had beer and pop and a liquor dispenser that we had unlimited access to…
My aunt and I didn’t really do much yesterday…we were both soo tired from the flight, and I didn’t get much sleep the night before because I was too excited. We did take a bunch of pictures though andddd not to mention, get a 50 minute full body massage. I have neverrrr had a professional massage before, but I think I may go more often after this. It felt so heavenly I fell asleep and the massage therapist had some trouble waking me up ahha. Anyway, today we went to Las Islas .. I think that’s what it’s called? —BEAUTIFUL outdoor mall that had an interactive dolphin aquarium! Didn’t go inside though, because I’ll be swimming with dolphins this Saturdayyy! Been waiting so long to cross that off my bucket list. I have to admit though, I am a little nervous. I’ve always been afraid of deep water and things swimming under me so we’ll see how this goes.
Tomorrow we’ll be going to Xcaret, an eco-park that has a bunch of wildlife you can see and activities you can do. We leave at 7:15am in the morning so I have to be up prettttyyy early. We’re off to see some entertainment at the resort’s theatre. It’s raining right now but that’s not gonna stop my aunt… It’s Michael Jackson night haha. CIAO!
